| That is VERY interesting about painting your nails so you don't lose them - wow. Learn something new every day!! Jessa - I want to learn dramatic for going out. I don't think it really matters what brand. I usually wear browns and just put it on a bit darker when I go out, but I have dark blues & grays that I would love to learn how to put on for going out - without it looking really tacky!! (Which it would if I tried to do it myself - ha ha!) I tried to just follow the steps I use everyday, but using the dark blues, and it did not turn out good AT ALL! _________________ ~ i am the truth you try to silence ~ i am everything about you that's a lie ~

| Okay, so here's my question...Why is it that the guys can do the whole guy-liner thing and then smudge it to hell and look every hotter than when they started? Doesn't seem fair to me! And don't get me started on the fact that they sweat more than a whore in church and their hair stays put. Would someone please ask them what brand of mortar they use? Back to makeup...I love MAC but it's so expensive! I have been using the HIP line from Loreal. That line is great for a "going out" look. The one thing that I recommend all women try is fake eyelashes. They are a bit tough the 1st few times you apply them (and you want to wear them around the house before you venture out in them just so you know how your eyes handle them) but they are a cheap and dramatic eye popper! I have used the cheap and more expensive brands and like them all but you want to make sure that you have the good glue! (Learned that one the hard way!!) |

| I just bought a pair of lashes about a month ago but haven't experimented with them yet. I want to. Can you use mascara on them? As for guyliner and boys who know how to use a flatiron with the right "product" for perfect hair and eyes???? Accck!! I love them to death cuz they look just plain yummy but it kills me that I can never get my hair or eyeliner to look that good. OK BOYS!!! FESS UP!!! WE WANT YOUR BEAUTY SECRETS!!! NOW!!! _________________ I'm just an ordinary human after all.

Put all your makeup on THEN the lashes. As soon as you have them on, use a curler or your fingers to squeeze all the lashes together. I usually have to touch up my eyeliner so the base of the lashes blend in. |

| I had to have someone put my fake lashes on at New Year's - I tried, but I could not put them on straight. I want to learn to do them myself so I can put them on whenever I want. I was thinking of getting the lashes that are actually just little groups of lashes, and you put them on where you want/need them. Yes, you can use mascara on them if you want, but usually you don't need to. Kathy - are you going to wear your glasses when you put them on? Mine were so long (and I just bought "regular" ones) that I had to wear my contacts - the lashes kept rubbing against my lenses!! _________________ ~ i am the truth you try to silence ~ i am everything about you that's a lie ~

I haven't tried this stuff myself, cuz I'm not big on hair product, but Johnny told me he uses Joico Spiker gel, and it sure seems to do the trick. He also told me he knows how to apply make-up because his sister is a make-up artists to the stars and she gave him some pointers. I sure wish I had a celebrity make-up artist sister.... |

Take a picture of Johnny to the MAC counter & tell them you want your makeup to look just like that - ha ha!! Very interesting about his sister!
CHEAP MAKEUP - the "ELF" line has been bought out by...some big company like Neimann Marcus or Macy's, and they have to clear out their inventory because the new company will redesign their packaging. They are selling EVERYTHING for $1!! I've heard good things about this makeup.

| I used to have to wear fake eyelashes when I was in shows, I hated them-- I never used mascara on them its not necessary.....the best thing I can recommend is black eyeliner and black mascara and lots of it for "going out" I personally LOVE the Cover Girl- Perfect Point Plus Eyeliner in Black/Onyx. Its self- sharpening and pretty much fool-proof, it makes a relatively thin line but you can make it thicker and more-dramatic if you would like.....also if you extend the eyeliner a bit out on the sides (like the egyptian look)--- it doesnt have to be THAT dramatic, but if you do it just a bit, it will open your eyes up and make them look bigger.....I also try to put a bit of white or shimmer under my brows towards the sides, it reflects the light and gives a cool effect........I have lots of tips and stuff, its just kind of hard to explain some of them......we need to have a slumber party |

| I've got the totally opposite problem with mine- I have to get it severely layered to get rid of hair...and tame the volume. It looks ok when its wet, but once it dries, it turns into a giant uncontrollable mass of fluff that it seems like NO product will contain well enough. Every time I go to the hairdresser, they're like 'OMG You have sooo much hair.' So end result- when I have it long (as I'm currently growing it out so I can do updo for my wedding), I have to use crazy numbers of clips and scrunchies to keep it close to my head. Seriously, I'd give it away if I could, because I don't have the knowledge or patience to deal with it....it drives me nuts. |

| My hair is very thick... It grows in thick, and I have a full head of hair all the time. Hopefully that means I won't go bald any time soon, haha. Aaaanyway, my hair is stupid. When it gets longer, the right half of it flips out, but the left half, doesn't. So I have half a head of curly hair and it makes me look stupider than usual. _________________ Stay With Me... | get you some aqua net and spray your hair all over lightly--- lift your hair up and spray all of it----then lift up the top layer of hair and tease underneath it and lay your hair back down over the teased section and flat iron it----it gives you volume that will stay.....and throughout the day/night all you have to do is re-tease underneath w/ your fingers to keep it up..... |
